At this point, readers should know what Headset Buddy does and who we cater our customized communication technology products to. So it must be obvious that the Headset Buddy team would be traveling to the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from June 9-13, 2014 for the 15th Annual Call Center Week Conference and Expo. Did you have designs on attending, as well? If you’re in the information and communication technology business, or work in any way with call centers, Call Center Week should be an essential entry on your calendars.
Head over to Call Center Week’s WEBSITE and you’ll see this helpful intro:
“Call Center Week is the industry’s #1 event with twice as many client-side attendees and speakers than any other conference. We’re not resting on our laurels though. We’ve taken Call Center Week to a new level this year with innovative new features, an expanded expo hall, and some amazing new keynote speakers.”
This is the largest and densest gathering for call center professionals held in the U.S. (and perhaps the world). More than 1,500 industry figures, representing more than 350 internationally-recognized corporate brands, are expected at this year’s Week. The scheduled events comprise 120 (plus) speakers, more than 75 sessions and panels, over 100 exhibitors and dozens of countries. Clearly, there will be more than a few avenues Headset Buddy’s patented line of headset adapters and adapter-related products to fit into.
But we’d also want to get a good seat for some of this year’s keynote appearances. This year, Call Center Week is bringing bestselling writer Keith Ferrazzi (of Never Eat Alone fame), who (according to Call Center Week’s WEBSITE) “has been named a ‘Global Leader of Tomorrow’ by the World Economic Forum, one of the top ‘40 Under 40’ business leaders by Crain’s Business, and one of the most creative Americans in Who’s Really Who.” Also speaking is National Mutual Insurance Company chief customer advocate Jasmine Green. Green’s talk is said to focus on “creating a customer-centric culture inspires excellence and positively impacts business results.”
Additionally speaking in keynotes: Jenn Lim, CEO & “Chief Happiness Officer” of Delivering Happiness (and Zappos Culture Book creator), Adriana Torres, global head of customer care services for Visa Inc. and Cirque du Soleil senior vice president – Resident Shows Division Jerry Nadal. That’s a lot of range, topic-wise, in five presentations!
The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is a, well, swanky location for Call Center Week. We imagine the visitors will be too busy to attend to Las Vegas’ other, well-known attractions, but who knows? Maybe the next giant corporate merger or initiative will originate from Mandalay Bay’s poker table.
The call center industry is not going anywhere. That much is obvious; every year call centers pop up in new cities and new countries, and technology isn’t getting any slower in connecting people to their needs. Call Center Week, which is presented by IQPC Worldwide, is the greatest summer event in communication technology. This is where the major names and tomorrow’s titans make their mark and write their story. Headset Buddy is looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
